2023 Retrospective: Moving into Management

Since this is my "expert" channel, I would like to sum up my "professional" results of the year.

The commit chart on GitHub very clearly shows the most important change this year - for the first time in my life, I moved to a managerial role at Bereke Bank to develop the Competence Center for the development of front-end systems.

This is a big challenge for me, because... For the last 11 years, I spent most of my time only on development and working with people took up a small percentage of my work, and now the availability of free slots in the calendar surprises me 😁

It was sad to leave Smarter Contact early in the third quarter, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with such a comprehensive product and a great team. This is definitely a unique work experience for me.

In between, I helped the abr tech team make important improvements to the abr+ product and bring restaurant reservations (which I asked for back in 2020) to the busiest restaurants in the chain.

It has been a difficult year, full of changes and new challenges. We look to a bright future in 2024 and never stop.
